Barbara Kay Hunt, affectionately called Barb or Aunt Barb, was the last child
born of six children to the late Roxie Brodie Sr. and Alice Agnew-Brodie on Feb
11,1962 in Evansville, IN.
Barbara was married to Ivan Hunt for 36 years and from this marriage 2 children
were born, Ivan Jr. and Kaiyana Hunt. Barb will be remembered for her gracious,
generous hospitality and her outstanding cooking. She was always willing to
offer a plate to anyone who graced her home with an appetite. No sacrifice was
too great for her family. Barb’s generosity, loving heart, and desire to help

those teachings all of her life. Barb operated her own business, “Barb’s Variety
Shop”, from 1989 to 2003 where she was known to many who patronized her shop.
Her loving mother “Ann” assisted her in this endeavor.
