Barbara Jean Green

Barbara Jean Green,66, passed Dec. 17, 2017 in Clarksville, TN. She was born in Hopkins County March 28, 1951 to the late Gennie Bell Ray and Jeremiah Isabelle. She attended Rosenwald High School and later became a Certified Nursing Assistant. In her spare time, Barbara loved to fish. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Glen H. Green, Sr.; her nephew: William Anthony Henry, whom she cared for. She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter: Angela Mackey Hurts of Clarksville, TN; one son: Cornelius Mackey (Julie) of Madisonville; two stepsons: Randy Green, Glen Green, Jr. of Madisonville, KY; two sisters: Sharon Russell (Lewis) of Clarksville, TN, Cherylene Smalls (Charles) of Oak Grove, KY; three brothers: William Bides, Benjamin Isabelle, Freddie Stafford (Sheryl) of Madisonville; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; one aunt: Shirley Mae Foster of Louisville, KY; one uncle: Silas Bell of Clarksville, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services are Saturday December 23, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Mason & Sons Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Leave condolences at www.masonbrothersfs.com .
