Arthur Lee Reed

Arthur Lee Hendrix Reed, age 75, of Madisonville, went to be home with the Lord on March 4, 2023. Arthur was born to Marjorie Pritchett Reed and Robert Hendrix on February 2, 1948. He served in the United States Army and retired from Atlantis Plastics.

Arthur was a faithful member of Gough Tabernacle AME Zion Church, where he served as a Trustee and a member of the Usher Board.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Virgil (V.W.) Gilliumj, Donald (Bull) Reed, and Ronald (Peewee) Reed; a sister; Pearline Tandy; guardians: Archie Lee and Harvey Baker, Sr., and Essie Harris Orr.

Arthur leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Margo; daughter: Tracy L. Reed; sons: Anthony J. Reed and Kevin D. Reed; granddaughters: Brittany Reed, Elizabeth Reed, Lorna Reed, Brooke Reed, and Alajae Reed; grandsons: Aaron Reed, Amare Reed, and Andre Reed; great-grandsons: Desmond Kennerly and Tristen Reed; great-granddaughter Ta’Nyla Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
