Arthur Bostick Sr ,77, was born in Silver City, Mississippi on December 8,1945 to Ara Lee Henderson (Pat) Bostick and Bernard (Rabbit) Bostick, whom preceded him in death. He went to be with the Lord God on Saturday, May 13,2023.
Arthur accepted Christ at an early age. He was a member of Eastview Missionary Baptist Church in Madisonville, KY. He worked at Peabody Coal Mines for over 30 years and owned and operated Green Light Taxi services for 9 years. He was a hardworking man, a great father, friend, and overall one of the most caring and compassionate people you could ever meet. His favorite past time was watching and cheering on UK basketball, riding his motorcycle, and making his famous sweet potatoes. He had a heart of gold and will be deeply missed by the community of Madisonville.
He leaves to cherish his memory 3 Daughters: Sandra(Al) Bostick- Daniel of Hampton,GA, Artavia Bostick of Indianapolis,IN and Melissa (Stanley) Igbinigie of Decatur, GA; 4 Sons: Arthur Bostick Jr of Princeton, IN, Kenneth Bostick, Rodney Russell, and Chase (Amanda) Bostick all of Madisonville,KY; loving siblings: Bessie (Vernon) White of Baton Rouge, LA, Irene (Arthur) Phillips of Newnan, GA, Bernard (Carolyn) Bostick of Memphis,TN; 11 grandchildren,6 great grand children and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held by his children on Saturday, May 20,2023 at 12 noon at the Eastview Missionary Baptist Church in Madisonville,KY .
