Armandus Jerome Hardin, 66, a native of Evansville, IN earned his wings on October 25, 2015. He was born March 27, 1949 to the late Henry Ann Hardin and Eckler C. Brooks. Armandus graduated from Central High School in 1967. He retired from Old National Bank Events Plaza. In addition to being a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church for more than 50 years, Armandus was the proud chairman of the Deacon’s Board at the church. As a member of the St. Johns Consistory #54, he obtained his 33rd degree as a Mason.
In addition to his parents, Armandus was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years Zreeta and son Carless.
He leaves to cherish his memories, daughter: Leslie V. Jackson (Jeffrey); sons: Troy Rodgers Hardin, Anthony Hardin (VaSheena) all of Evansville; grandchildren: Darius Henderson, Sr., Troi, Ta Sharra, and Tahj Hardin, Javiair Jackson all of Evansville, Dominick Hardin, Adrian Barnes, Ashton Hardin of Atlanta, GA, Kevondra and Terrell Hardin of Indianapolis, Jeniah, Jeremiah and Xavier Thomas, Ahmir Hardin all of Evansville; Great grandchildren: Kali Henderson, Chase Franklin, Darius Henderson, Jr.; uncles: Noreberto Hardin (Doris) of Evansville, Melvin Books of Washington, D.C.; aunt: Myrtle Brooks; sister in law: Von Ceil Higgins-Payne of Evansville; brother in law Demarco Higgins, Sr. (Sheila) of Alexandria, VA; nieces and nephews: Breya Higgins, Jalen and Brandon Payne of Evansville, Demarco Higgins, Jr. of Alexandria, VA; special daughter and son in law: Mary Wright of Evansville and Michael Barnes of Atlanta, GA; a special friend Deborah Torain of Henderson and a host of cousins, church members and friends.
