Anita Jackson was born December 19, 1966 at the Moline public hospital in Moline, Illinois to William Jackson and Dolores Payton Jackson. Anita later moved to Cairo, IL at the age of 4 and then moved to Metropolis, IL at the age of 6 where she attended Franklin Elementary and became a cheerleader. She later attended Massac County High School. Anita was a loving mother, friend, daughter, aunt, and sibling.
Before Anita became ill she was a very hard worker. She was a former employee in Evansville at ResCare as a house supervisor. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Anita enjoyed listening to music and playing games on her phone. She was also the best bingo player of all times. Anita enjoyed her last days with her daughter, Jasmine Jackson; Jasmine’s, fiancé Cortez Lee; and her grandson, Jamarion Pipes. Anita loved to laugh and never met a stranger and will truly be missed by many!!!
