Anita Yvette Burris

Anita Burris, 61 passed away on November 1, 2022. She was born to Juanita Madison Burris and William Smith of Henderson Kentucky. She graduated from Henderson County Senior High School.

Anita was a member of Seventh Street Baptist Church. She loved to cook, do hair, and experiment with different styles of makeup. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her two sons.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Terrance Burris and William Lee Burris, and her sister: Barbara Jo Gilbert.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Demar Burris, and Scotty Burris; siblings: Wallace (Magnolia) Davis, Deborah Berry, Nancy Terry, Teresa Hatchett, Terry (Rev. Adrian) Brooks, and Darlene Burris; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
