Angela Elesse Parker of Henderson, Kentucky passed away Monday, February 26, 2018. She was born in Madisonville, Kentucky to Greta Parker and William “Henny” Burris. She was raised by her mother, Greta, and father, James Jones.
Angela Elesse graduated from Providence High School in 2006. She attended Murray State University and was a member of New Race Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Henderson.
Angela Elesse was most recently employed by Indiana Department of Transportation. She had previously been employed by the City of Henderson, Big Rivers, and Toyota.
Angela Elesse loved life. She enjoyed playing softball, basketball, and other sports. She was a true “Daddy’s Girl.” She loved her daddy, James Jones, so much. She also loved singing in the choir at her church. Family was very important to Angela Elesse. She loved her mother, grandmother, siblings, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Those left to celebrate and cherish Angela Elesse’s life are her mother, Greta Parker; father, James Jones; father, William “Henny” Burris; siblings: Kimberly H. Simmons (Carl), Octivia Burris, Kasey Burris, Corey Farris (Brandy), Wilbert Farris, and Seth Culver; grandmother: Nora Parker; aunts: Patricia Coleman, Angela Parker, Fannie Warren, and Dorothy Burris; uncles: Bishop Eric Parker (Tammy), Spencer Parker (Jovita), and Michael Parker; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 1:00pm at Simpson Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Providence, Kentucky with visitation from 10:00am until service time. Mason Brothers Audubon Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be left at
