Alese Lanette Hobson

On June 9, 1970, the world was blessed with a special angel, Alese Lanette Hobson. As she continued her life and legacy, she was called home on July 6, 2019. Born to Leander and Yvonne Lawrence in Indianapolis, Indiana, Alese was raised in Owensboro, KY. She graduated from Apollo High School.

Alese had a passion for caring for others which she was able to utilize while working at Rescare as a caregiver. She had an uplifting spirit and was an encouragement to others who were going through something. Her smile would light up a room.

Alese enjoyed cooking, especially for her family. Knitting was a hobby that she loved to do. Her grandchildren were a source of great joy and she took delight in spending time with them.

Alese leaves to mourn her loss, her mother: Yvonne Lawrence; daughters: Kirstin Blair and Keaira Lawrence; two brothers: James & Charles Crite; sister: Julia Kizer; three grandchildren: Ki’Mariyah Johnson, Na’Zyia Blair, Ke’Arian Blair; and an abundance of children and grandchildren who she accepted as her own.

Services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday July 13, 2019 at R. Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel with visitation from 12 noon until service time. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Leave condolences at www.masonbrothersfs.com .
