Agnes Gertrude Lake Penn, 72, transitioned from Earth to Eternity on October 23, 2022, at Deaconess Hospital Henderson. She was born to the late George Washington Lake and the late Rachel Malsadis Lake in Anguilla where she graduated from High School.
Agnes accepted Christ at an early age in Anguilla and attended Christ Methodist Church where she was very active and sang in the choir. In 1978, Agnes was united in Holy Matrimony to Bushel Penn who preceded her death. Their union was blessed with one daughter Stacey and one son Alexander.
Agnes was a kind and loving woman who enjoyed cooking for her family. She was famously known for her delicious peas & rice dish served with pork chops. She also loved to garden. Each year she grew peas, sweet potatoes, and other vegetables to feed her family. Agnes was a fun-loving person who loved Caribbean dancing and music and Soul music. She was a singer as well. In her spare time, Agnes played Dominoes and cards. Traveling with her family was a great part of her life.
Agnes leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Alexander Penn of Henderson and Stacey Penn of Anguilla; grandchildren: Staclexis Penn, Andesha Connor, Micah Greenaway, Taya Penn; great-grandchildren: Amelia Penn, Alexis Penn; siblings: Yvette Abraham (Rupert), Collin Lake, Leopold Lake; nephews: Antonio Abraham, Ted Abraham; nieces: Ramona Richardson, Pauline Abraham; special cousins: Albertine Gumbs, Arlene Gumbs, Angeline Gumbs, and Albert Gumbs; and a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
