Jaylen Alexander Curlee

September 10, 1997 — December 11, 2022

Jaylen Alexander Curlee, 25, transitioned from earth to eternal life on December 11, 2022. Jaylen was born in Cleveland, Ohio on September 10, 1997. He was the son of Louis O. Curlee and Karen Curlee Norman-Joyce.

Jaylen relocated to Evansville, Indiana where he attended Bosse High School. After receiving his GED, he attended welding and carpentry training. He became a skilled welder and labored on several construction projects in Evansville. Jaylen was employed at Sunrise Coal Company.

He enjoyed playing basketball and fishing, but most of all he loved spending time with his children.

Jaylen was added to Line Street Church of Christ where he was baptized at an early age.

Jaylen was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Emma Norman, and paternal grandfather, Louis Curlee.

Jaylen leaves to cherish his precious memory three sons: Josiah, Jayceon, and Jayden Curlee; Mother: Karen Norman-Joyce (Billy); Father: Louis Curlee (Corretta); Brothers: Tierrel Curlee, Robert Chapman lll and Justin Curlee; Half Sister: Jasmine Beulah; Maternal Grandfather: Julius Norman and Paternal Grandmother: Linda Curlee; Stepsisters: Tanisha and Jazmine Joyce; Stepbrother: Julius Joyce; Aunts: Uncles, Cousins many friends and a loving Line Street Church Family.
